On October 3 and 4, 2015, athletes from all over the country will meet in Denver to compete in the first Do More Charity Challenge, presented by Community Banks of Colorado, a division of NBH Bank, N.A., and hosted by Front Range CrossFit. The Do More Charity Challenge is an event dedicated to raising money for Colorado charities, like Third Way Center. Every dollar donated by corporate sponsors and raised by teams who will compete in the event will go directly to non-profit organizations around Colorado.
The Community Banks of Colorado team, “Where Common Sense Lifts,” chose to compete and raise money on behalf of Third Way Center because its mission embodies Community Banks of Colorado’s corporate social responsibility pillars of quality housing, education and workforce development.
“Third Way Center is doing some wonderful work,” said David Roahrig, Community Banks of Colorado Senior Credit Manager and “Where Common Sense Lifts” team member. “I really like the scope of what they are doing, the number of youth they are helping and learning about their outcomes.”
In addition to training for the athletic portion of the competition, the team is focused on raising at least $5,000 for Third Way Center.
