Residential Programs —

All residential programs are licensed as Therapeutic Residential Child Care Facilities (TRCCFs). Each house/program provides round-the-clock supervision, intensive mental health treatment, group therapy for a variety of issues, recreational activities, transportation, meal planning, independent living skills training, vocational & educational assistance, and more. Each program is a “regular house” in a “regular neighborhood.”

Lowry

Entry Level: Lowry Campus:

TRCCF for thirty-two youth. This diagnostic and assessment program serves our most emotionally and behaviorally disturbed youth and offers stabilization to those in our other programs who are having difficulties. This program is staff secure, highly structured and has an on-site, state approved school.

Pontiac

Mid Level: York and Pontiac Street Programs:

TRCCFs, each serving sixteen co-ed adolescents. These homes offer more freedom and off site activities, but are still highly structured mental health programs. Focus is on living in a community, taking care of yourself, being respectful of others, being a good neighbor and learning to make appropriate decisions.

Teen Mother Program:

TRCCF serving thirteen teenage girls and up to nine babies. The only program of its kind in the region, this house is a mental health treatment program with a teen parenting format. All girls in this program must attend school and prepare for careers which will enable them to become functioning parents. Child care is provided through state funding and private donations.

Transitional Level: Lincoln Street Supervised Apartments:

Intensive emancipation program with wrap-around clinical services. TRCCF serving twenty-three teens and up to four babies. Recognized by HUD as a national model treatment program for homeless youth. Focus is on independent living, graduation from high school, college entrance or vocational training, job placement and ultimate emancipation into the community.

Exit Program: Next Steps:

Our community based after-care program for youth who are eighteen or older but still need supervision and assistance. We follow them into the community, help them find stable housing, check on them daily, assist them with routine activities, help them find jobs and more.
