Awake Overnight Mental Health Counselor

Compensation: $15.60 per hour with Bachelors degree

Third Way Center is seeking a full time awake overnight mental health counselor to work as a member of a multidisciplinary treatment team at one of our residential facilities working with high risk youth ages 13-20. We are looking for a creative and dynamic set of people who like to be challenged and seek to learn and better themselves professionally and personally. Our mission is to provide a continuum of services in a home-like environment where at-risk youth can work through their traumas, learn to take responsibility for their actions and lives to become productive members of society.

Our Overnight MHC's are active members of the treatment team that carry out our programmatic goals as well as work with the youth on their own treatment goals. Responsibilities are:
Milieu management including counseling and crisis intervention when needed
Knowledge of the histories and plans for all youth in order to give individualized care
Teaching the youth different skills based on their current abilities in order to enhance their opportunity for normalization and self determination
Ability to work as a team and take direction utilizing resident's treatment plans is a must

Benefits: We have a generous vacation package where you accrue two weeks of vacation and six days of personal time in your first year and you receive an additional paid week off at your second year and fourth year anniversaries. This position comes with full benefits including medical, health, dental, vision, flex, accident, and disability options. As your employer we pay 72.5% of your premiums for health and dental for the first five years and increases to 90% after your fifth anniversary. We also want to invest in your growth professionally as well as your health and offer a staff gym that you can use at your leisure that has a locker room and shower!

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in social work or related field. Can substitute two years of experience for educational requirements. The candidate must also possess a current valid Colorado driver's license, have a clean driving and criminal record, be at least 22 years of age and have the ability to obtain QMAP, and CPR/First Aid certification. Additionally, the candidate must pass an extensive background and DMV check as well as the Diana Screen. We follow Federal Drug Screening Laws.

 

Primary Therapist

Compensation: $40,000 Base $43,000 Provisionally Licensed

Third Way Center is seeking a Primary Therapist to lead a multidisciplinary treatment team at one of  our residential facilities working with high risk male and female youth ages 13-20.  We are looking for a creative and dynamic set of people who like to be challenged and seek to learn and better themselves professionally and personally.  Our mission is to provide a continuum of services in a home-like environment  where at-risk youth can work through their traumas, learn to take responsibility for their actions and lives to become productive members of society. 

Therapeutic responsibilities of the position include group, individual, and family therapy with a heavy focus on milieu therapy and management to include creating therapeutic alliances, knowing histories, researching as needed, and understanding psychological dynamics.  Case management responsibilities include developing treatment plans as well as timely completion of paperwork requirements.  Supervising and delegating responsibilities to team counselors and empowering and advocating for your youth.  Ability to work as a team and take direction utilizing your team is a must.

Part Time Mental Health Counselor

We are looking for a creative and dynamic set of people who like to be challenged and seek to learn and better themselves professionally and personally. Our mission is to provide a continuum of services in a home-like environment where at-risk youth can work through their traumas, learn to take responsibility for their actions and lives to become productive members of society.

Schedule: We are residential treatment and thus are open 24/7/365. Schedules include evening and weekend hours.
