Creative Arts Therapy & Educational Programming

Third Way Center is just beginning to offer more in the way of formalized creative arts therapy. We have a part-time registered music therapist who conducts two groups per week at the school, including a guitar and percussion class. Students from the University of Colorado drive down from Boulder weekly to teach strings classes. The teachers at our school offer a variety of classes in visual arts, multi-media arts, poetry and photography.

Beginning in April of 2005, Third Way Center began offering an after-school arts program in conjunction with ArtReach. This program is funded by the Colorado Council on the Arts and includes instruction and performance opportunities in drama, dance and percussion.
