Council on Accreditation

Third Way Center's Residential Treatment, Youth Independent Living (Next Steps Program), and Pregnancy Support, and Child and Family Development (Bannock House) are accredited through the Council of Accreditation.

 

Colorado Association of Family and Children’s Agencies (CAFCA)

Third Way Center is a member of the Colorado Association of Family and Children’s Agencies (CAFCA), a coalition of nonprofit organizations advocating for child welfare services and working on policy issues with state and local governments in order to strengthen the child welfare system. Third Way Center’s Executive Director, David Eisner is Board Chair of CAFCA.

Colorado Department of Education

Third Way Center has two state-approved alternative high schools for youth in our houses and Next Steps programs. Our educational programs boast a graduation rate 13% higher than the average graduation rate for similar populations in the State of Colorado.

Colorado Department of Human Services

Third Way Center is recognized and licensed by the Colorado Department of Human Services, and is the region’s only licensed treatment program for teen mothers and their babies. Third Way Center is now providing one of the most comprehensive mental health treatment programs in the region and has helped thousands of youth find the “third way” of living – a healthy, happy, and productive life path achieved by identifying and treating mental illness.

Child Welfare League of America (CWLA)

Third Way Center is a member of the Child Welfare League of America (CWLA), a coalition of nonprofit organizations with close to 100 years of experience in establishing child welfare policies, programs, and practices across the United States.

Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce

Third Way Center’s membership with the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce connects us to over 3,000 businesses and business leaders dedicated to building healthy business climates and empowered communities. In 2009 Third Way Center was awarded The Large Non-Profit Organization of the Year by the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce.

Metro Denver Homeless Initiative

Third Way Center is a partner in the Metro Denver Homeless Initiative (MDHI) Continuum of Care.

Office of Behavioral Health

Third Way Center is a licensed Substance Use Disorder Treatment Provider, and has a full-time Master’s Level Drug and Alcohol Treatment Coordinator working with youth that are struggling with addiction.

U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)

Third Way Center’s partnership with The US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) allows for our organization to join in their mission to create strong, sustainable, inclusive communities and quality affordable homes for all. Our Lincoln program has become recognized as a HUD national model emancipation program in Downtown Denver.
